Greeting All,

Greetings all.

I’m working on some new songs and I’ve got on a bit of a roll. How I’ve missed these little jigsaw puzzles.

I’m going to do two solo shows at The Vanguard to try them out on Thursday and Friday May 20 and 21. A fully seated affair again, with more space between the rows downstairs. Tickets go sale Wed 17 March, at http://sa2.seatadvisor.com/sabo/servlets/TicketRequest?eventId=100128465&presenter=AUVANGUARD&venue=&event

My friend Perry Keyes released his wonderful third album on March 5. I play pump organ and piano on track 16, “Boxing Day”. Please consider ordering the album for a ridiculous $12.99 from JB Hifi, and get a set of four drinks coasters http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/music/pop-rock/johnny-ray-s-downtown-bonus-coasters-signed-copy/482353

Perry and I played the song on NSW Stateline on ABC Television. The segment is online at http://www.abc.net.au/news/video/2010/03/05/2838163.htm Also I will be playing a solo set at his album launch at Notes in Enmore on Saturday April 17.

I will be giving more succinct and slightly more frequent updates via Twitter which I am now utilising. And to think I used to be an early adopter.

You can sign up to my Twitter thingy here http://twitter.com/timfreedman . I’ll keep you informed about the making of the solo album which I am starting to hear. It’s going to have energy. It’s going to be fun.

The Whitlams four-piece are doing some shows in the coming weeks:
